I’m Gabriel Hamblin, the owner and lead surveyor of Hamblins Residential Surveying Ltd. I have a background in mechanical and electrical engineering, alongside property development, which brings a diverse range of skills and knowledge to my surveying work. I am driven by a passion for property and take pride in helping people make informed decisions when buying their homes. I believe that the best surveys come from taking the time to understand each property and its unique characteristics.
I come from a family rooted in the local construction industry: my father was a thatcher, my grandfather a timber treatment and damp-proofing specialist, and my uncle runs a construction and renovation company specialising in historic buildings. Growing up around such expertise instilled in me a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail—values that I bring into every survey I conduct.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes two wonderful children and our dog. I’m passionate about all aspects of property, from the technical details to the history behind every building, and I’m proud to offer a service that combines my experience with a genuine love for what I do.
